Package 2: Parish e-Lists

1. Sign up for a Parish e-List Account for only $75/year.
   Parishes with less than 500 families pay $40/year.
   Parishes with more than 4000 families pay $100/year.
    
2. You'll receive an account name that matches your church name. For example, St. Mary's Church could be given the account name of "stmary.parishmail.net".
    
3. You create as many e-lists as needed by staff and ministry leaders. Unlimited! For example, parish news can be sent to an e-list named "news@stmary.parishmail.net". The Youth Minister can send messages to the cell phones and email addresses of parish teens by posting to "youth@stmary.parishmail.net".
    
4. Only authorized staff and ministry leaders can successfully send emails to the lists, and only to the lists they need to access.
    
5. You can also create discussion lists, where everyone on the list can communicate with everyone else on the list.
     
6. Email addresses are collected on the parish registration form, adult education signups, religious education registrations, and by any other means your staff finds for obtaining parishioner addresses.
   • These are submitted to the chosen e-lists by the staff, via an online form.
      
   • Confirmation emails are automatically sent to these parishioners, who grant permission to receive parish emails by simply clicking a link in the confirmation email.
      
   • Initially, large lists can be transferred into your new Parish e-List by emailing them to us in a text file, and we will install them for you, saving your staff much time.
      
   • We will give HTML code to your parish webmaster to add a sign-up form on your website.
      
7. When parishioners want to unsubscribe or change their email address, they can easily do so using a link that comes at the bottom of every email they receive from the e-list mailings.
    
8. We do the work for you! At no extra charge, we will install each new list. Just tell us the purpose for the list, give us the email address of the staff member who will be in charge of the list, and supply us with the email addresses of any extra, authorized senders.
    
9. Let us keep it easy and simple for your staff! We'll provide full servicing of your Parish e-List account for $50/list (or half price for parishes with less than 500 families), renewable yearly. Our servicing includes:
    
   • Professional design to make the out-going emails look good, representing your parish well, using your parish logo and/or small photo, colors, header, footer, and a sidebar that always has links to your website — like a mini-webpage! Every time an email is sent to the e-list, it gets automatically inserted into this design.
      
   • Optimization of the lists' efficiency.
      
   • Updating the authorized senders when staff changes occur.
      
   • Scheduling out-going messages before they need to go out. For example, invitations to attend the Lenten Parish Mission can be pre-set as soon as the date goes into the parish calendar, no matter how far in the future the mission will be held.
      
10. Training is available via phone and/or our Live Help instant messaging program on the Internet: $150 gives your staff personal tutoring for one full year. If a staff member is going to service the Parish e-List account instead of us, we will teach him/her how to use the admin control panel that comes with each list. We will also be available to tutor all e-list senders and will provide how-to instructions which they can view on our website and download for printing.
